Samurai bar tape

Samurai bar tape

Members of the Sanada family, a famous Japanese Samurai family, developed this unique weaving technique and gave the fabric its name. The Sanada family used the duct tape to wrap around the hilt of their swords, providing more grip and better Katana control in the heat of the moment.

Many others followed their example and soon the Sanada Himo tape was used by most of the samurai across the country.

The tape is made of 100% cotton, it is extremely strong, durable and weather resistant.

Made in Japan.
